The Staff Code of Conduct was designed to translate the University of Sheffield's vision values into practical day-to-day expectations, guiding how we work with each other, our students and our external partners. The Code of Conduct is split into three main sections – creating an inclusive and collaborative workplace; responsible and ethical conduct; and University processes, procedures and regulations. It also includes information about challenging and reporting unacceptable behaviour (e.g. via the Report + Support web portal, which enables staff and students to report, either anonymously or using names, instances of unwanted or unacceptable behaviour, including but not limited to bullying, harassment or similar behaviour based on race, sex, sexuality or other protected characteristics).
This induction pack provides people with all the information they need to know regarding how the the University supports them, how to access development resources, understanding your research contract, support for your research, and much more! It is equally helpful for new starters and those who have been at the University for some time as it is kept up to date to reflect all the new developments.
