The Research, Partnership and Innovation team at the University of Sheffield have developed an open resource to offer guidance on narrative CVs. The resource provides detailed information and examples of best practice to support both research staff preparing narrative CVs and reviewers evaluating them for research grants and fellowships.

The Faculty of Health appreciates the outstanding contributions that contract research staff make to the Faculty. In recognition of this, and after Dr Silke Fricke’s announcement during the Faculty Showcase event on the 19th of June, we are pleased to confirm the results of the annual Early Career Researcher Prize Scheme for 2025.
Ameera Jailani – Clinical Medicine - Awarded for outstanding contribution to leadership.
Ada Jimenez-Gonzalez - Neuroscience - Awarded for outstanding contribution to leadership and teaching.

The Faculty of Health Fellows' College officially launched in June 2024. It exists to offer support and community to aspiring and independent research fellows and new PIs within the faculty. Thanks to a lot of behind the scenes work over the last 18 months, it now has a functioning committee with representation across all divisions. They also have a webpage and for any enquiries you can email them.
